As part of the endeavour to strengthen the connection with the community of leading architects, Klil Designer Windows has asked us to organize a tour that would connect the architects to the values of the brand. The tour played a major role in the launching of the innovative profile series
“Bauhaus” which drew its inspiration from the international style and the Bauhaus school in terms of aesthetic and functionality.
Utilizing our deep knowledge of art and culture, we set about organizing a unique tour that started in the Bauhaus museum in Tel Aviv, where we received a riveting review about the Bauhaus in Israel and the world over and continued on the other side of the street where we listened to a professional lecture delivered by the architect Rivka Karmi. Additionally, we got a unique glimpse of Liebling Haus which was still under construction but currently has exhibition spaces, work stations, a research lab and a coffee house. Our last stop in the tour was Assuta Village, which used to be a hospital but has become a prestigious residential complex that preserves the Bahuaus hospital buildings with all their unique features as part of the White City.
From the 38th floor of the new building complex, the panoramic scene, of the entire white city that the visitors witnessed, was breathtaking.
The tour ended with a splendid lunch at Lily & Bloom Boutique hotel which is also located at a historical Bauhaus building.
The tour took place in a number of Bauhaus centers in Tel Aviv. It featured several exclusive meetings with artists and architects who are proficient in Bauhaus alongside experts who have led remarkable projects such as Assuta Village. The cosy atmosphere that was formed was enriched by delicious food, personal touch, ice cream
and affogato al caffe which was perfect on that afternoon at the end of the summer.
